Michael Minter: Over 25 Years Helping American Families — Standing for Integrity in a World of Online Misinformation
For more than 25 years, I’ve had one mission:
to help American families plan their future with honesty, transparency, and genuine care.
My work has been built at kitchen tables, in living rooms, and across countless conversations with real people who simply want clarity and someone they can trust.
But today, we live in a very different world — a world where misinformation travels faster than truth, and where people can publish things online without context, accuracy, or accountability.
This isn’t just about me.
It’s about what millions of honest Americans experience every day.
The Internet Has Become a Place of Confusion, Not Clarity
The internet used to be a source of information.
Now, too often, it’s a place where:
assumptions replace facts
templates replace truth
headlines replace honesty
exaggeration replaces integrity
There are blogs, posts, and pages written by people who never spoke to you, never reviewed your work, never met your clients, and never cared about the impact on families.
Unfortunately, this environment hurts good people — not only professionals, but spouses, children, parents, and everyone connected to them.
A Reality Many Americans Understand About Certain Lawyers
Let me say this clearly:
There are many honorable lawyers who serve their communities with integrity.
But many American families have seen something else too:
a subset of legal marketers who operate on a business model built on fear, not fairness.
These firms:
publish dramatic accusation-style pages
exaggerate situations for attention
recycle the same language by swapping in different names
care more about clicks than truth
create noise, not justice
never consider the families affected
This isn’t justice —
it’s a business model, not the model of fairness taught in law school.
And every day Americans feel the impact of these tactics.
Even Abraham Lincoln Warned Us About This (And He Was a Lawyer)
Before becoming President, Lincoln was an attorney — and he refused to take cases he believed were unfair, dishonest, or exaggerated.
He wrote:
“Discourage litigation… The nominal winner is often the real loser — in fees, expenses, and waste of time.”
And even more directly:
“Never stir up litigation. A worse man can scarcely be found than one who does this.”
Lincoln believed lawyers should be peacemakers, not promoters of conflict.
His wisdom still applies today.
What I Want Families to Understand
I’m not writing this for drama.
I’m writing this for clarity.
Because in today’s world, silence can be misinterpreted.
And people deserve to know what I stand for — not what others assume or publish without context.
Here is the truth:
I have spent 25+ years serving families with transparency and ethics.
I have built relationships based on honesty and respect.
I have always worked under full regulatory compliance.
I continue to put families first, above everything else.
This is what Mintco Financial was built on.
This is what my career is built on.
And this is what I will continue to stand for.
Why I Continue to Serve — Even in a Noisy Online World
The world has changed.
But my values have not.
Every family I help reminds me why I began this journey:
to bring clarity where there is confusion
to bring honesty where there is fear
to bring guidance where there is uncertainty
And no amount of online noise will ever change the work I do for real people.
If You Need Guidance, I’m Here — Just Like I Have Been for 25 Years
Whether you have questions about retirement, life insurance, financial planning, or your family’s future, my door has always been open — and it remains open today.
I’m here to help you navigate your goals, your concerns, and the decisions that truly matter.
