Why am I part of the Mintco Financial team? Because I’ve come to learn how some small changes in life can make a significant difference to your overall quality of life. Especially when it comes to your finances, when you can control it, it is exciting and empowering, and once you have this important area under control it means you are free to do the things that really matter: focus on family, health, friends and life.

I come from a big Brazilian family, with two sisters and one brother. We all had the same education, but I can see how even coming from the same “root” can still have different ideas and ways on how to manage money.

One thinks life has to be lived to the fullest and doesn’t think about the future. Why would that be?

Living and planning your today, can only help make your future better and more peaceful.

I really enjoy being part of a team that can make the difference in someone’s life.

I am major in Business Administration with Masters in Marketing.

I am married to a great man and have two sons full of beans!

Born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Waldorf, Maryland. I have memories of my childhood, running my own Kool-Aid drink stands, mowing lawns for $10, cutting hair and learning how to string tennis rackets just to make a few bucks. I tried many different business ventures since my childhood, and always loved the challenge of how money works.

I was fortunate to have a loving mom, talented younger brother, and a father who was like the Vince Lombardi of the hearing impaired community at Gallaudet University, Dr. & Coach Minter. Losing him at the young age of seventeen, meant one thing, continue his Legacy on your own.

Life has never come easy for me, but I was blessed to have a loving, supportive family, and through my father’s teachings a winning attitude instilled in me. This has allowed me to overcome whatever challenge I am up against. Finishing up at the University at Buffalo with a Financial Analysis degree at night, while foregoing my senior year of tennis on scholarship, was one of my toughest decisions in life. A decision I hoped would help change many other lives, like my father.

There I began in the financial services business in 1997, while still in college. My life’s passion for the way money worked could now help families and individuals prepare and prevent what my family and so many go through financially when things change overnight. I have helped educate thousands of individuals and small business owners over the years about the financial strategies that have proven to be successful and continue to show people how money works. In 2001, my vision to create a Financial Firm that truly works for you began and Mintco Financial was born in Buffalo, NY.

In the summer of 2011, the stars aligned when I had the opportunity to meet my partner, Lloyd Schneider. He had everything that I didn’t have but shared the same values, ethics, and vision that I had. Most importantly, he had the experience and expertise to provide our clients the solutions that concerned them the most. So in 2012, we decided to create a nationwide agency together, and continue to build upon the brand and reputation Mintco Financial established over the past decade, and relocated to Sunny Florida.

Having a chance all these years to learn from you and your life’s struggles, I decided to write a book to educate all children and walks of life. The book is called I-Plan, in hopes that everyone in America will someday have the chance to read and implement their own. If my dream were to happen, I am confident the heart of America’s financial problems can be prevented for many generations to come, it’s a simple read with simple solutions.

I am blessed with a beautiful and healthy family that keeps me very grounded about where real happiness comes from.

I have achieved many certificates, received recognitions, have had articles published in Magazines and Newspapers, interviewed for TV shows, invited to speak at many Community Programs over the years (you can view my resume online)…but for you, what really matters is that I put my heart into everything I do. I am competitive (I played tennis and sports growing up at a very high level) and have always had the WILL to Win in all aspects of my life. We will win for you. To make you, your family, and our future’s lives happier. “TOGETHER WE MAKE POSSIBLE HAPPEN.”

Lloyd Schneider
Managing Partner

As Managing Partner of Mintco Financial, Inc. Lloyd brings a unique perspective to his clientele. He is a licensed insurance advisor in many different states and has been acknowledged by a number of local and national publications as one of the leading independent insurance professionals in the area. He has been a featured guest on AM1620’s USF radio.

Lloyd originally came from Bayshore, NY, he moved to Florida as a teenager, and upon graduating in 1988, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served our country onboard the USS Paul FF-1080 during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He decommissioned his ship, and finished his active duty tour in 1992 in order to pursue a college degree. During this time, he continued with the Navy as an active duty reservist, Operations Specialist First Class, through 2006.

Lloyd obtained his bachelor’s degree in Personal Wellness from the University of South Florida in 1996 and began a career helping others with their physical health issues, as an exercise specialist in a physical therapy clinic. His passion for helping others improve their health continued to grow and he realized from working with various patients, they had concerns about protecting their wealth as well. He took this knowledge and transitioned into a career in asset protection and wealth management.

Lloyd recognizes the importance of preserving the assets accumulated for retirement and the need for reallocating assets as you transition from the working years to the retirement years. Focusing on the unique needs of retirees and transitioning boomers, Lloyd employs a host of time-tested strategies utilizing insurance products to protect one’s life savings from rising healthcare expenses, unnecessary risks from market fluctuations, avoiding fees and when possible creating tax efficiencies.

Lloyd managed a local agency and for many years trained others in the business. His entrepreneurial drive led him to start his own firm, and in January, 2012 he decided to partner with Financial Advisor, Michael Minter and bring Mintco Financial, Inc. to the Tampa bay area. Their combined backgrounds have allowed clients the ability to receive in-house council on all facets of their healthcare and retirement planning needs.

Lloyd is married and has both a son and daughter and when he’s not helping his clients navigate retirement, he enjoys his time with family, indoor and outdoor volleyball, tennis, and serving the community with charitable efforts such as Habitat for Humanity and Metropolitan Ministries.

Born and raised right here in Tampa, FL. Fresh out of college, I received my Real Estate and Real Estate Appraisals Licence. After a few years in the business I realized it wasn’t right for me. I then went and received my Insurance License and began my journey in the Industry in 2006 and never looked back. I loved the idea of providing and maintaining a client-focused approach with individuals and their insurance/financial needs. It all started with Ameri-Life and Health Services where I was a branch manager and and a President’s Club Qualifier. In 2011, I joined the Mintco Financial Team where the vision and opportunities were endless. Working FOR our clients and NOT FOR a specific Insurance Company has a tremendous benefit for the individual or family we are working for. We do all the leg work and shop around for the best Insurance Company that will fit your needs, which is extremely important. Every situation is different and this is why our system is proven to work.

Ryan Murdie

Born and raised in Tonawanda, NY right outside of Buffalo. Coming from a family of 10 children, I had to learn very early on in life the values of hard work and determination. Throughout life, I embrace each challenge with a competitive spirit. I constantly strive to set myself apart from the rest of the pack.

After the shock subdues, when others find out about my large family, the first thing they usually ask is what it was like. I always jokingly say, “Well, I have nothing else to really compare it too.” Overall though, I’d say I have learned invaluable lessons regarding teamwork, sacrifice, and the benefits of having such a large support system that I may have not gotten elsewhere.

I have always been an extremely hard worker. When I was 13 years old and eager to work, I remember “altering” my working papers in order to make it appear I was 14. I did this to get a job washing dishes at a local pizzeria. At 15 years old, I started my very first business buying things in bulk on eBay and selling them off one by one.By age 16, I was working as many hours as I could in retail while juggling school and sports.

In 2008, while still attending college, I obtained my Property & Casualty License. At that time, I decided to set myself apart from peers and focus on a career which provided me the most opportunity. Throughout my high school and college-years, I had worked odd jobs at an insurance agency where some of my family members had worked. I began working full-time through my last 2 years of college, and graduated with my B.S. in Business Administration from Medaille College in Buffalo.

In 2011, I met Michael and Anelise Minter trying to solicit their insurance. It apparently worked, and we embarked upon a business relationship. Through them, I saw opportunities I did not even know existed. With their encouragement, I have grown my business and obtained my Life, Accident, & Health License in 2012.

As a Senior Associate at Mintco Financial, Inc. who specializes in Property & Casualty insurance, I try to offer a unique perspective for clients.Whether it is asset protection or maximizing the value of premium dollars spent, I try to put a personal touch on every case I embrace. As a manager at one of New York’s largest insurance agencies, The Northwoods Corporation, I am able to offer my clients a truly comprehensive insurance experience.

My hobbies include playing volleyball, which I did competitively through college. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my two dogs. In business and in life, I strive for a “people come first” mentality.
